April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 in 1995. At the age of seven she started to take piano and guitar lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for music writing. April's first song was Different. It was written at the age of 12. The singer spent much of her hours at the age of 14 creating songs and playing. In the following months she began to take writing excursions along with her father on trips to LA and NY. April began including other topics in Take My Hand for the people in her life who are struggling with peer pressure, disabilities and even suicide. Lockhart has a partnership with the well-known clean beauty brand Ilia and is also a lifestyle influencer, with her own large following. She was born without her left hand and that is part of who she is--but it's far from the entirety of her story. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't hide her disability but doesn't concentrate solely on the issue. The point is? We all have multiple aspects in our lives that make us unique and that we are more than just our physical self. Lockhart through a recorded message from Nashville's residence, states that I don't wish to let this define me. I'm much greater than the physical person I am. And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct everything normally and I've found the best way for me to adapt things. Since it's part of my identity I think it's worth discussing. Lockhart's journey to acceptance of herself will be one that lasts an entire lifetime. She can be a role model in this regard. Still, she admits going through a series of phases with regards to her body. She felt unsure about certain clothes which showed her arms. Nowadays, she can wear whatever she'd like. And she posts her pictures to social media. It's all a process is the main thing I'm not certain until you've arrived her self-love statement. It's a fact that I see with every person, whatever their vulnerability is. The people you surround yourself with that truly understand you and see right into your soul are those who remind you why it's important.
