Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov was raised in Manhattan, New York, being the younger of two daughters. In the year she turned 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th graders who attended the show were extremely impressed. As she grew older she was a summer student at Interlochen Center for the Arts and also in Paris taking classes at NYU's Tisch. She trained in a range of different styles and finally earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also was a student. The LAByrinth Theater, master class, Molly was able integrate writing with her acting. Molly switched her dark jacket for a pair of sunglasses, before heading to Los Angeles. Her parents were thrilled with her performance of three words on iCarly. She has since done several TV appearances, and also created the role of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman, Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly says she's great on the basketball court, but she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
